Frequently Asked Questions 

1.   Is there a minimum charge for your balloon decorating services?

Yes.  At Balloon Decor and More we would love to have your business!! Our minimum decor job starts at $75.00.  

 2.  What are the procedures for arranging decorating services?

More often than not, the process of making complete arrangements for event decorating can be completed using email, fax, and phone. We also offer no cost face-to-face consultations.  In cases where several vendors are involved and coordinating efforts is required, we could request to meet as a group.  We are familiar with many venues in our service areas, thus site inspections are usually not necessary.

Ideally, the first step after visiting our website is to phone or email our special event decorating staff. We can confirm availability for your event date and collect basic information, which will allow us to prepare a quote, free of charge.

After reviewing the quote you can advise us if any desired changes.

Once the quote is approved you will be provided with a confirmation by email which serves as a work order.

3.  Will I have to sign an agreement?

You will be required to sign a simple agreement for us to provide services at your event. We do not believe in fine print, but we do believe in having an understanding.  A minimum 50% deposit fee will be required to book our services. The remaining 50% balance must be paid in full two weeks prior to your event. 

 4.  Can a balloon decorator sit down and consult with me about my arch or dance floor?

Certainly, the pictures on this website are just the tip of the iceberg as to what we can create. We want to help you make your event a special one.  We have lots of pictures and catalogs that we would love to share with you. Just call to set up an appointment.

5.  Do you have a cancellation policy?

In the event you need to cancel your event, we will gladly refund 100% of your deposit if it is at least 28 days before your event.  If your cancellation is 27 days or less from your scheduled event date, we will not refund your deposit.  

6.  Do you use special balloon?

Only the very best will do.  We use only balloons for professionals, which are the very best balloons in the industry.

7.  How long will the balloons last?

We apply special treatment to our professional latex balloons allowing them to float at least one week.   Balloon designs that are created with air (non-floating) will last for weeks.  

8.  Is your company insured?

Yes, Balloon Decor and More is fully insured.  If your venue requires us to provide a Certificate of Insurance to work on-site, please inform us as soon as possible.  An Insurance certificate is available upon request. 

 9. Do you have a Showroom? What are your hours of operation?

We do not have a showroom and thus do not have regular store hours.  We have a studio/workshop where we build some of our designs.  Clients are welcome to drop off payment at our reception desk at 10 George Street North, Suite 122, Brampton, Ontario.  In most cases we meet our clients at the venue where we discuss layout and coordination details. 

10. What should I expect during my consultation appointment?

Your appointment will average approximately 30 minutes. You will have a fun and stress free opportunity to review our portfolio.  We will show you samples of our quality balloons as well as theme ideas that may pertain to your event.  Our appointments are a free service to you.

11.  Do you offer helium tank rentals and/or sell uninflated balloons?

Balloon Decor and More is a full service event decorating company and thus we do not rent our helium tanks or sell our uninflated balloons.

12.  Is your company a member of any association or group?

We are members of The Brampton Board of Trade and we network with some of the largest balloon networking companies in the world.

13.  Do you donate balloons?

Due to the nature of our business, we receive donation requests on a frequent basis.  Request for balloon donation will be granted only to registered charities within our service areas.  For consideration please submit your request in writing on your company’s letterhead along with any printed material for your upcoming event.  Your non-profit organization or school may also be eligible for a discount when we are unable to make a donation.

14.  How early should I contact you to plan for my event and secure your services?

The first thing to do is secure your venue and the actual event date. Once that is completed, we will have a better idea on what to suggest in terms of decor and will be in a better position to finalize many of the details of your event. 

Christmas, New Years Eve and Valentine are our busiest times of the year. We create some of our most exciting high impact decor during these celebrations.  Therefore, in order to ensure availability please place your order early.
